“It was kind of humiliating. Great, I’m 17 years old, I’m 40 pounds overweight with a big belly on me, all my friends are at school watching this on the news. This kind of sucks.”

Briston does say that Johnston has given her approximately $4,000 to date. She is now legally asking for $1,750 per month and $18,350 in past support.

Oprah Stepping Down for Sarah Palin?

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Rumors,

Sarah Palin, Oprah Winfrey

The Conspiracy Corner at E! worked up this little gem of a theory today, and it’s the first thing that makes sense about Sarah Palin. On the heels of her Palin interview, Oprah Winfrey made the shocking announcement - laced with metaphors - that she will be leaving her hit show. Oprah is so successful and so big, she can all but single-handedly control the New York Times Bestseller list, make or break an entire corporation or create her very own television stars.

Odd that she would just walk away from it all, right? Would Winfrey really leave…without filling the gap that her departure creates? One theory says no way - she’s going to give the spot to , and that’s why she’s made this decision now.

And that sounds pretty reasonable.

VIDEO: Martha Stewart Calls Sarah Palin Boring and Dangerous

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Television, Videos,

Although she was in attendance at a charity function, wasn’t feeling charitable in her opinion about Sarah Palin.

When asked by CNN last week about her thoughts on the former Alaskan governor, the domestic diva was her usual blunt self. “She’s very boring to me. Very boring. And a very…to me…uh, kind of a dangerous person. I mean, she’s dangerous.” So aside from her potential connection to the end of the world in 2012, how exactly is Palin dangerous?  “She speaks! She’s so confused. And anyone like that in government is a real problem.”

So would Martha - who lost over a billion dollars after her legal scandal - accept any money to hear Palin speak? “I wouldn’t watch her if she paid me,” Stewart claimed.

Around three hundred fans were left with their books still unsigned, though they’d been given wristbands to guarantee a signature on their freshly-purchased Palin tomes. Listen to them roar in the video above.

Sarah Palin Thinks Newsweek is Sexist

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Photos,

Sarah Palin

Newsweek’s most recent cover shows a sexy former governor with long, bare legs - and Palin says it’s an “unfortunate” photo choice. She explains that the photo was originally taken for Runner’s World, an article that was “all about health and fitness” - a subject she says is “critically important to this nation.”

Newsweek re-used the photo with the headline “How Do You Solve a Problem like Sarah?” The one-time VP candidate spoke out against this choice via Facebook.

“When it comes to Sarah Palin, this ‘news’ magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant,” she wrote. “The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender or color of skin.” I assume this applies to Palin’s own book, Going Rogue, as well.

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Rivalries, Rumors, Where Are They Now?,

John McCain has gone on record while promoting her new tell-all (Going Rogue) to speak out against the McCain camp…but her former running mate could soon answer with a few stories of his own.

Rumor has it that no less than thee different book agents and/or publishers have approached , offering many millions to get him to share his side of the story. One unnamed publisher is quoted as saying that such a tome “would be the hottest book of the year. Even bigger than Sarah’s book.”

But will McCain actually do it? Only time - and press releases - will tell.

Sarah Palin Responds to Levi’s Johnston

Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Television, Rivalries, Rumors,

Sarah Palin, Levi Johnston

Levi Johnston has been getting a fair amount of press attention, a lot of it due to his association with former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. You see, he’s going to bare it all in Playgirl and he happened to be the one to knock up Palin’s oldest daughter.

If that wasn’t enough, he’s made a few incendiary comments to the media recently regarding his dear, nearly mother-in-law. On a recent Early Show appearance, Levi called Palin’s song Trig “retarded,” (he’s got Down’s syndrome) and later added that he, Levi, could get Palin “in trouble and could hurt her.” Oh, do tell.
